Meals for the last week of 2008
This is a simple meal plan for the week because I really didn’t know what to serve. I am still recovering from all the holiday festivities. I have no appetite for anything, which makes meal planning difficult. I am just trying to keep it simple, mostly healthy, inexpensive and kid friendly.
Meals for the last week of 2008
Sunday: Pizza and salad with family
Monday: Left over buffet night
Tuesday: Some kind of salad as the main course
Wednesday: Something special for New Year’s Eve. I just don’t know what. Growing up my family would have appetizers all night as we counted down the hours and minutes to the new year.
Thursday: Chicken cacciatore served with brown rice and a dinner salad
Friday: Soup and salad with homemade bread
Saturday: A freezer meal

Your menu sounds really good this week. Growing up, my family did the same thing for New Years Eve. All we ate were appetizers all night long and just sat around and talked. My dad would buy the wine-in-a-box and it was so much fun.
Sounds like a great menu! I love those dresses and apron you have featured. I love to sew and they have certainly inspired me!
