Well unfortunately my plans changed during the week last week so my menu plan was not followed exactly how I like it to be. My husband was supposed to be out of town on a guy’s weekend and end up staying home due to some issues at work and then the weather. My dear girl friend, first roommate in college came to visit though with her sweet little girl. We had a good time just chilling with the kiddos. I am hoping this week I can stick to my menu a little better.
M: Leftover BBQ (yeah!)
T: Whole Wheat French Bread Pizza with sausage, chicken, olives and artichoke hearts, wedge salad
W: Crock-pot: Thai Basil Chicken, Broccoli and rice
Th: Special Casserole and asparagus
F: Asparagus and Ham Frittata
S: Let's go out
S: Freezer Meal (Enchilada Casserole)

What do these things have in common?
Yes, that is a picture of my hairdryer, shine spray and the milk on my counter in the kitchen. As a busy mom of two that are still little I rarely have time to get ready, let alone in the bathroom. So I have resorted to blow drying my hair at least a few days a week in my kitchen while my children drink their milk. As a mom it is difficult to find time to do anything for myself, so in thinking outside the box this is how I get ready in the morning. It is not glamorous to get ready in my kitchen, but it is one way that I have learned to deal with my so called life at this stage in the game. What tricks, short cuts, things do you do that make life work for you? Please post a comment I would love to hear from you.

I am back...
Well it has been a few weeks since I ave posted. I am sorry for the delay. I have had a lot on my plate the past few weeks.
On Wednesday I actually went through oral surgery yet again to have another wisdom tooth removed. It is the strangest thing. When I was pregnant with little a I got this random wisdom tooth. Eight years earlier I had my other wisdom teeth removed and was told that this one would not come in; little did the dentist know the power of hormones. Removing it was mandatory, since it was quickly killing the tooth next to it. All in all the surgery went well. My mom bless her heart flew out to help me with the kiddos and to take care of her baby. :) It was great to see her and catch up, even though I was in pain for most of her visit. The swelling has come down some, but I still have a lot of overall jaw pain on the left side of my jaw. Advil is helping greatly.
A quick note about a previous post, I received my paint samples a few days ago. I am so excited. I am not sure what I am going to paint with my glorious samples, but I am very excited to have all those options ahead of me. I have so many projects to do and things to work on that it is often overwhelming.
Today we moved the bed frame for her full bed into Big A's room and changed the furniture around yet again. It looks so much better in there without the mattress and box spring just lying on the floor. We also hung some white wooden boxes that I purchased a few months ago in her room. They look great. It looks so much more put together in there now.
Well I have several ideas for posts I would like to post this week, so make sure to check back later on in the week. Have a great week!
